Born of seawater and oysters, Akoya pearls are famed for their brilliant luster, perfect roundness and rich creamy color. They have been prized throughout history as the most luxurious round white pearls that can be cultured, a technique originally pioneered by Mikimoto Kōkichi. 
The necklace is handmade with 14kt gold filled findings and a signature Nouvelle Pearl tag. It features gold bead caps to highlight each 7mm Akoya pearl and measures 27 inches — it can be worn doubled up as a choker as pictured.
